Spring awakens our enthusiasm for sport. From our hotel you have direct access to cycle paths in the region, which are an easy level also for families.
while mountain bikers will find their own paradise just a few minutes away by car: the Bad Kleinkirchheim region has the longest natural trails in Carinthia.
The nock/bike region of Lake Millstatt and Bad Kleinkirchheim has a mountain bike network of around 700 kilometres. In order to be able to really make use of all the tours available, transfers by cable car, boat or trailer shuttle are offered.

Children who love horses and riding will be well catered for as there are several local riding stables with riding facilities that can be reached in just a few minutes by car. The riding facilities are located in Seeboden, Malta, Lendorf and Spittal an der Drau. Please inquire at our reception our staff will be pleased to help you.

Malta Hochalmstrasse (alpine road) – Kölnbreinsperre (Kölnbrein arch dam with spectacular airwalk), Nockalmstrasse alpine road in the Nockberge mountains with the Nockalm Biosphere Park, the Hohe Tauern National Park with the Grossglockner mountain and the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, the Märchenwandermeile (Fairytale Hiking Mile), and the medieval town of Gmünd, home to many artists.
The Malta Valley with its Gößfälle waterfalls, water play park, Malta Valley cycle path, Malteiner Wasserspiele (water features), treasure hunt in the Innerkrems, Stubeck family mountain pasture and the Malta Valley donkey farm.
Car fans will be in their element at the Porsche Automobile Museum in Gmünd. And the Pankratium fully lives up to its name “House of Amazement”. In the Pankratium, children and adults alike embark on a journey of sensory, visual and acoustic perception, as you and your family hear, see and feel in the world’s largest walk-in violin, the wistful drum, water trumpets and other sound machines and sculptures.
